Qualifying Transactions

$1 will be donated1 every time you make one of the following qualifying transactions, between November 1st and December 31st

Enroll in Mobile Banking​

Stay on top of your finances while traveling for Thanksgiving or shopping for gifts on the go.​

Add and complete an inbound transfer from a new external account​

Move funds from an external savings account to cover holiday expenses or year-end travel plans.

Add and pay a new bill​

Settle your winter utility bills or pay for seasonal services like snow removal or holiday lighting.​

Set up a new auto payment for eBill​

​Avoid late fees during the busy season by automating payments for your streaming services or winter heating.​

Set up a new recurring payment​

Make regular donations to a local charity or faith organization during the season of giving.​

Activate an eBill​

Go paperless for the new year and keep track of your holiday bills digitally. ​

Send $5 or more to a new Zelle® contact

Operation Gratitude is a nationwide nonprofit whose mission is to lift spirits and say thank you to our military and first responder communities and to honor their service by creating opportunities for all Americans to express their gratitude through hands-on volunteerism.

1Campaign Period: Between 11/01/2025 and 12/31/2025, $1 will be donated to Operation Gratitude each time a consumer performs one of the qualifying transactions:

  • Bill Pay
    • Add and Pay a New Bill Pay Payee.
    • Qualifying Bill Pay transactions must be at least $10.00 and must be sent to a unique party with a different mailing address from the Bill Pay subscriber; payments to oneself are excluded.
  • eBill
    • Activate an eBill.
  • AutoPay
    • Set up a new auto payment for eBill.
    • Set up a new recurring payment.
  • External Transfers
    • Add and complete an inbound transfer from a new external account.
    • Qualifying transfers must be at least $50.00 moved between a newly added External Transfers account and a qualified account at Webster Bank, and new registration qualifiers must complete the add-and-verify account process.
  • Zelle®
    • Add and Pay a new Zelle® contact.
    • Qualifying Zelle® payments must be at least $5.00 and paid to a third-party with a different mailing address from the primary online banking accountholder from which the payment is made.
  • Mobile Banking
    • Enroll in Mobile Banking: Download the mobile app and link to your online banking account.
    • Qualifying Mobile Banking transactions must occur within Webster Bank’s mobile banking app and linked to the user’s online banking account.
    • Add and Complete an Inbound Transfer from a New External Account. New External Account must be added during campaign time period, Inbound Transfer must be scheduled and completed during campaign time period and Inbound Transfer must be at least $50 moved from the New External Account into a qualified account of the Client maintained with Webster Bank.
  • Enroll in Mobile Banking: Download the mobile app and link to your online banking account.

Details on Qualifying Transactions:

The financial services and other services generally offered at the various Financial Institutions vary. All Qualifying Transactions must be completed during the Campaign Period.

Maximum donation is $25,000 total for all campaign participants throughout 2025. Your Webster Bank account must be in good standing.

Business accounts are excluded. Employees of Fiserv, Inc. and of financial institution and their respective parent and affiliate companies, as well as board members and the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. Rules are subject to change without notice.
