Tim co-leads our planning and consulting services and works day-to-day to help our clients identify, implement and achieve their financial goals. His activities are largely focused on working with Webster clients who are business owners and wish to design a strategy to exit their business or define a succession plan when they eventually retire. Sometimes this requires modeling sophisticated tax and financial transactions and extensive work with other client advisors. Other times the client just needs someone to help listen, organize the path forward and coach them to keep moving towards their goals.
Tim previously served as chief philanthropic officer for Wells Fargo Private Bank in Doylestown, PA. He was a philanthropic market executive at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and chief trust officer at Merrill Lynch Trust Company in Pennington, NJ. He also served as vice president at U.S. Trust in Stamford, CT., and was a trust and estates partner at Davidson, Dawson, and Clark, LLP and Hawthorne, Ackerly, and Dorrance, LLC both in New Canaan, CT.
Tim received his LLM in taxation from Quinnipiac Law School, his law degree from New York Law School, and his Bachelors in finance and marketing from the University of Denver. In addition, he is a Certified Exit Planner (CExP™) and an ORSC™ trained systems coach. He is a frequent speaker and presenter on estate and business exit strategies and charitable topics. Tim has a long history of being actively involved on local boards — from the performing arts to environmental organizations. One of his lifelong passions is singing. He is a veteran of over fifty opera, operetta and musical productions
