Edward J. Blaskey is the Executive Managing Director of Middle Market Banking for Metro New York/Long Island/New England and Pennsylvania at Webster Bank, a role he has held since May 2017, where he builds and manages commercial banking teams across the mid-Atlantic region.
With over 43 years of banking experience, Ed started at Chase (legacy Chemical Bank), spending 10 years in various lending roles on Long Island and in NYC. He then joined EAB for a decade, culminating as Group Vice President of the Long Island community lending group.
In 2001, he joined TD Bank (formerly Commerce Bank) as Regional Vice President to launch the Long Island Market, expanding its retail franchise and commercial lending. He later became Market President for Suburban NY and Long Island, overseeing lending and deposit growth in Long Island, Westchester, and the Lower Hudson Valley.
Ed holds a BS in banking and finance from Adelphi University and is actively involved in community service, having served as Past President of Advancement for Commerce, Industry & Technology. Currently, he sits on the Board of Directors for the Long Island Association and the United Veterans Beacon House.
