Shawn Gines

Shawn Gines is Regional President for the New York City & New Jersey Metro markets. He joined Webster in 2019 and is a Senior Managing Director in Webster’s Middle Market Banking division specializing in providing financing, treasury management, and interest rate management to mid-size and large businesses and family offices.

Prior to joining Webster, Shawn was Senior Managing Director at Sterling National Bank where he led a Middle Market Commercial group in Middle Market Banking. Prior to that, he held the position of Senior Vice President at Bank of America within the Global Commercial Bank, contributing to the bank’s strategic growth and client relationship management.

With a diverse career spanning two decades, Shawn also spent numerous years at GE Capital where he held various roles in leveraged finance and structured finance, honing his expertise in complex financial solutions and corporate strategy.

Shawn earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the State University of New York at Albany and a master’s degree from the D’Amore McKim School of Business at Northeastern University.
