From Dream to Reality
Affordable Housing
At Webster Bank, we believe that everyone deserves a place to call home. That’s why we’re proud to offer special programs that make it easier to own a home.
Available mortgage programs
Giving more families the chance to say “we’re home”.
Program is intended to assist first-time homebuyers who might otherwise not be able to afford a home by offering assistance with down payments and closing costs.
Sometimes, all it takes is a little HOPE to make your dream of homeownership a reality.
The Moment
Angela dreamed of owning a home. While other banks would not approve a mortgage for another two years, Webster made it possible now. Through special mortgage options and downpayment assistance, Angela was able to purchase a house and make it her own. Today, Angela’s family proudly enjoys the independence of living in their own home.
Webster’s network of Community Liaison Officers (CLOs) support communities within our expanded footprint. The CLOs work in partnership with Webster’s Office of Corporate Responsibility (OCR) to provide support and financial education to low-to-moderate income (LMI) and minority borrowers. They also work to increase lending options to meet local credit needs, especially for first-time homebuyers.
